Homeless Pigeon Records is a label run by a team of Music and Music Technology students from Thames Valley University (TVU) in Reading. Its mission is to expose the music of TVU students, staff and up-and-coming bands from the Thames Valley and beyond, to a new audience.

New Release

This year's new release, 'Bird Strike', features exciting performances from a number of TVU students, including acoustic rock from Circle Round The Park and DiceJar, electronica from Fusion City and rock from Little London.

with an experimental track from renowned Reading-based poet A.F. Harrold. This home-grown talent is further augmented by some exciting tracks from a number of the south's most exciting young bands. Highlights include a dynamic track from Temposhark (featuring guest vocals from Imogen Heap) along with exciting contributions from boydidgood, Second Storey Ruin and Stoltz. The CD closes with an experimental track from renowned Reading-based poet A.F. Harrold.

The CD will be officially launched at two gigs at The Face Bar in Reading on Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 June. These gigs are part of TVU's regular summer show schedule and will feature live performances from students who are currently on the ND Music, First Diploma Music and Level 1 Music programmes.
