You can get involved with Reading Fringe Festival in a number of ways. However you choose to participate, it is YOU who will really make Reading Fringe 2008 the hit it deserves to be.
If you already have a regular or one off event planned in Reading that falls during the festival dates (15-21 August) then why not "donate" the event to the RFF?
Your event, venue, artists and promoters will reap the benefit of our marketing campaigns, and by putting your event under the RFF banner you will be raising the profile and increasing the exposure of the Reading Fringe Festival.Email for more details
We are eager to hear from all establishments in Reading who would be happy to provide a corner, a stage, or a terrace for our artists during the Reading Fringe Festival. If you are a restaurant, your diners may enjoy an acoustic duo; if you are a pub, why not consider a comedian; if you are a club, you could liven up a weeknight with some of Reading's finest musicians.
You will not have to pay the act, but your venue will benefit greatly from the increased exposure that RFF will bring and in turn you will be doing your bit for Reading's artists
Reading Fringe Festival is entirely self funded and in order to make RFF 2008 go off with a bang, we desperately need your support. You can purchase advertising space on our literature, t-shirts and on the website.
We would also be delighted to hear from potential sponsors who would like to contribute to the fund, just for that warm and fuzzy feeling inside you will get when RFF 2008 succeeds.
Who could be more important than the abundant range of talented artists we have in Reading, more worthy than the amazingly well organised promoters, more instrumental than the venues providing the space? That would be you, the audience.
With you in mind, we will make sure that there will be something for everyone and you will not be disappointed. With your help we will make the Reading Fringe Festival 2008 a year to remember.
